The Brief

My clients at the DNA wanted the promotional materials to feel celebratory and nostalgic to reflect the community’s excitement at the event’s long-awaited return. In order to achieve a cohesive, adaptable visual identity system, I illustrated a series of food motifs in a nostalgic, mid-century modern style using a limited color palette.

By utilizing simple shapes, half-tone shading, textured line work, a layered screen-printed effect, and playful hand-lettering, I was able to create a cohesive aesthetic that celebrated the spirit of the event.
